Situated on the river frontage The access to this adventure is by a 2km trip in a ferry boat from Base Huis.

Please arrive in enough day light for the trip, (about 15 minutes), up the river.

Glory Be sleeps 12 people in 5 rooms. Sleeping accommodation consists of two double bedrooms (one en-suite and one with a basin), two three-bedded rooms en-suite and one twin bedded room with a basin. The house is a two-minute walk from Deck Plek, therefore both houses booked together, are suitable for big parties.

There is an open plan living/kitchen/dining room with a large fireplace. The outside braai area overlooks magnificent river views.

There is the use of a canoe and a rowboat (onto which guests may attach their own small out board engines) No speeding or water sports allowed.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU ACCEPT A BOOKING AT Glory Be: You will be ferried to Back Track and back, free of charge, once for each booking. Additional trips for late comers etc. are charged at R100.00. Once you are ferried to Glory Be, there is no easy access to your car. Rowing or walking & swimming to Base Huis could take 15-30 minutes.
