Situated on the river, it is accessible by boat only.

The cottage consists of living, dining, kitchen area with open fireplace. The stoep, braai area and upstairs deck offer magnificent river views.

Sleeping accommodation: downstairs has 2 twin bedded rooms and one double room. Each room has a hand basin. There is a shared inside and outside shower and toilet.

Upstairs has a spacious 4 bedded attic room, with a shared toilet and basin.

The attic also has a semiprivate double room with a hand basin.

The house is a two-minute walk from Glory Be, therefore both houses booked together, are suitable for big parties.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU ACCEPT A BOOKING AT Deck Plek:

You will be ferried to Deck Plek and back, free of charge, once for each booking. Additional trips for late comers etc. are charged at R100.00.

Once you are ferried to Deck Plek, there is no easy access to your car.

Rowing or walking & swimming to Base Huis could take 15-30 minutes.
