The Cottages

The cottages nestle into the peaceful rural surroundings with exclusive river frontage. The cottages are fully equipped, inclusive of bedding, but quests must bring their own towels.

We offer four beautiful, fully equipped, self catering cottages, for nature lovers and adventurers. The rustic facilities are thoughtful and tasteful to provide simple comfortable and easy holiday living. The unique architecture is in keeping with the indigenous buildings of this charming little hamlet. The water frontage in all three houses is unguarded and NOT suitable for unsupervised children

Dogs are allowed, provided they are well behaved and friendly and do not chase or harass wild or domestic animals, or sleep on the furniture.

Vermaaklikheid

The Duivenhoks Estuary and its surrounds is one of the last remaining pristine estuaries in South Africa. The Duivenhoks Conservancy has been established to preserve its unique character. The area is also a Nature Conservation Protectorate. It is required that residents and visitors adhere to the rules and guidance of both bodies. (No speeding or water sports allowed)

THINGS TO DO

This unique eco-experience offers swimming, canoeing and fishing in the beautiful Duiwenhoks River. You can walk or mountain bike in this bird watchers’ paradise. Or just put your feet up and relax.
